Spectacular and clean hotel, brilliant location unable to shower after a long day trekking around Lake District. Location so close to the train station, public transport and a quiet residential area. Nearby Ribble Pilot - great place to chill out.
No breakfast at all.

Unreasonably slow service, waited 30 minutes for breakfast on the first day and had to leave after eating nothing, no Wireless in the rooms (despite being assured it was working) Very noisy environment (doors not damped so v loud, lots of noise form upstairs rooms etc)

The room was spacious and clean, though it did have a few maintenance issues. While the staff were friendly, there appeared to be a lack of training, as simple requests were met with confusion. With a great location, this place could be fantastic for a short stay, especially for families, but it would benefit from improved service and better room maintenance.

Quiet surroundings, comfortable bed, choice of bath and shower. Good supply of instant drink sachets and decent size tea cups.
Quite small room - rather compact size. Chairs for working, not relaxing.

Our Room room was loveley, very relaxing, which was a blessing, I had come to Preston to intern my father at Preston cemetry, and to visit family. The staff were very warm and welcoming we would definitley stay again we would liked to have had dinner, but the restaurant was closed, We could understand why,,it didnt cause us a big problem, we would have been happy to spend the whole evening at the hotel it was so nice.
We had a loveley time the 2 nights we stayed. However we felt a very very small dissapointment with the electric shower. we felt it could do with an upgrade the water flow was very small and slow.

Friendly staff. Interior of the room was nice.
The room was cold and we had little control of the heating - there are set times that it comes on. The room was most expensive in the hotel, yet it was located in a new extension which had a view of a tiny yard containing the hotel bins. A terrible view, which made it feel claustrophobic. Also the entrance to the room was right next to a toilet. These factors made it feel like a cheap room and poor value for money.
